Never News: A Grecian Bulletin

Hello beautiful people! It is I, Producer Georgia, here to provide you with a very special and slightly different installment of Never News. As you read this, I am in Greece, likely eating feta cheese, drinking ouzo, and standing in the shade like the sun sensitive creature of the night that you know and love.

In lieu of your regular nutrient-rich news slurry that I prepare for you, I'm here to offer you instead one of my favorite things: an extremely specific vibes-focused playlist of music for peak summer time fun in the sun.

For the sake of avoiding the use of any one music streaming service, I'm going to break it down for you here with a series of YouTube links for you to peruse. Each song, as you'll see, will have a specific vibe attached to it. ENJOY!

A Far L'amore Comincia Tu by Raffaella Carrà - The perfect and best song for whipping down the narrow streets of a sun-drenched European city in, what else, a Vespa

MALAVITA by Coma_Cose - Same exact vibe but the Vespa is going faster this time

Pon Pón by Khruangbin - Slightly toasted off of one (yes, one) Aperol spritz overlooking a beautiful vista and thinking "sadness no longer exists in my life"

El niño by DjeuhDjoah, Lieutenant Nicholson - just an undeniable summer groove, what can I say - very good for feeling cool and hot in a new outfit

Tienaté by Nu Genea - a great song to listen to while wandering through the farmer's market, also this entire album is back to back bangers

Dulcito e Coco by Vicente García - slowing it down a bit, this is for a pensive, emotive walk at dusk among the fireflies, music for romanticizing and lamenting the intricacies of life

Hazme Una Señal by Roberto Jordan - another great song for walking, but this is specifically good for the morning or the middle of the day in the sunshine

Figa De Guiné by Alcione - It's hard to deny music in Portuguese in the summer, so why try? This song is perfect and one of my favorite songs of all time, great for dancing around wherever you are

Canopée by Polo & Pan - And yes of course I had to include a French vibe in here. And no surprises here, the Vespa is back. Frankly, all of these songs could be (and should be) listened to while on a scooter

I could keep going, but I'll leave you there. I listen to this kind of music all the time, but especially in the summer, and I hope you enjoy it. Besitos from Greece!
